We spent the majority of Sunday indoors as the weather was not for outdoor play. As much as I love the sunshine, sometimes when it rains it is nice to just slow down, spend the morning in our pyjamas, play quietly with big sister, watching little sister sleep peacefully in her cot, reading, drinking coffee and chatting.
The rain cleared in the afternoon and we went for a walk with our new double stroller and the girls slept under the raincoer (it started drizzling again as soon as we left the house), and we walked in the rain, talking and just enjoying not having to rush to anywhere.
Tip regarding the last photo of little sister: Daytime light can be a bit harsh, but filtered through the clouds (and rain) and a window it is still bright, but soft and very good for photos. Next plop a baby next to the window, set your ISO to high(ish), open your aperture (low number to blur out background and let more light in to the camera) and increase the shutter speed to compensate for any headwobbling and you have yourself a good setup.
